Accepted Items

Clothing:  For the Spring/Summer 2012 Sale, we will accept girls' and boys' spring/summer seasonal clothing and shoes. Girls' capris pants are accepted. We accept clothing sizes newborn to size 16 and junior sizes. Clothing must be in excellent condition (no stains or holes). Buttons, snaps, and zippers must work.
*New* For baby girls sizes 0-3 months and 3-6 months, consignors may bring no more than 15 clothing items per size. For baby boys size 0-3 months, consignors may bring no more than 15 clothing items. Clothing style should be less than 5 years old. Recommended pricing for items is 1/4 – 1/3 of the original price.

Maternity:  Current style and any season is accepted. Recommended pricing for items is 1/4 – 1/3 of the original price. Clothing must be in excellent condition.

Shoes:  Clean and in excellent condition.

Toys:  Must be in excellent condition. Battery-operated toys must have working batteries. Seal small pieces in bags and tape shut. No stuffed animals, except those that require batteries. Please check for recalls (www.cpsc.gov/index.html).

Books, DVDs, and CDs:  Books should be free of tears and writing. Books on pregnancy and parenting topics are accepted. VHS tapes no longer accepted.

Baby equipment:  Must be in excellent condition; all pieces are present. Play pens, strollers, high chairs, bouncy seats, exersaucers, and booster seats are examples of accepted items. ONLY infant car seats with stroller systems will be accepted. Recommended pricing is 1/3 – 1/2 of the original price. Please check for recalls. Older items that do not meet current safety standards will not be accepted. PLEASE NOTE: We will no longer be accepting drop-side cribs as new government regulations are going to be instituted.  

Outdoor play equipment: Must be in excellent condition. Bikes, trikes, scooters, ride-ons, playsets, wagons, and sports equipment are examples of accepted items.

Furniture:  Must be in excellent condition. Examples are toddler beds, bureaus, toy chests, cribs, changing tables, desks, rocking chairs, gliders, and twin-size headboards.

Bedding and décor:  Anything child-related.

Stuffed animals (unless battery-operated)
VHS tapes
Magnetic building toys (many recalls)
Car seats/booster seats, unless it is an infant seat that is part of a stroller system that is less than 5 years old
Bike helmets
Children's jewelry
Used bottle nipples and pacifiers
Used underwear
Opened diapers
Breast pumps
Potty seats and diaper pails
R-rated movies

Please Note: Rugrats Resale reserves the right to reject items that do not meet the above stated requirements. We will inspect items and they will be removed if they do not meet the requirements. If we do not pull unacceptable items at drop-off, we will pull them and put them aside for pick-up after the sale.
