Volunteer Info

Volunteers help with organizing items, check-out customers during the sale, and sort items after the sale. Volunteers who work more shifts will enter the pre-sale earlier.

Please use the "Volunteer Sign Up" under the "Volunteers" tab to sign up. Shifts will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. If you are unable to work your assigned shift, you must inform us 24 hours prior to the shift.

Special Volunteer Incentives:

  Volunteer for one 3-hour shift and you will enter the pre-sale Tues., April 17th, 3:00pm-9:00pm. You will also have one entry in the drawing for a $15 gift card to a local store.

  Volunteer for two 3-hour shifts and you will enter the pre-sale Tues., April 17th, 2:30pm-9:00pm.  You will have two entries in the drawing for a $15 gift card to a local store and receive an extra pre-sale pass for a friend. In addition, your $6 consignment fee will be waived.

  Volunteer for three 3-hour shifts and you will enter the pre-sale Tues., April 17th, 2:00pm-9:00pm.  You will have one entry in the drawing for a $25 gift card to a local store and receive two extra pre-sale passes for friends. In addition, your $6 consignment fee will be waived. **New** - volunteers who work 3 shifts (not including flyer delivery and bottled water) can opt to get 80% profits from their sold items OR attend the volunteer pre-sale.

  * Another volunteer option is to hand-deliver sale flyers to local preschools and other posting sites prior to the sale. This will count as one 3-hour shift. Please use the "Volunteer Sign Up" under the "Volunteers" tab. Use the shift that is labeled "FLYER DELIVERY".

  * Other non-sale volunteer options are providing bottled water for the volunteers OR providing 2 boxes of snacks (counting as one shift). If you have another service that you would like to barter for a volunteer shift, send us an email at rugratsresale@comcast.net.
